An electric skylight opener replaces the mechanical opener and allows ventilation via push button, timer program, or sensor \u2013 in stairwells also in conjunction with smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems.<\/p>\n<h2>Suitable drives<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ventsystems.de\/en\/product\/vs-ka\/\">VS-KA chain drive<\/a> \u2013 compact, 24 V or 230 V, for most skylights.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ventsystems.de\/en\/product\/vs-cka-300\/\">VS-CKA 300 built-in chain drive<\/a> \u2013 concealed in the profile if the drive is not to be visible.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ventsystems.de\/en\/product\/vs-za-800\/\">VS-ZA 800 rack-and-pinion drive<\/a> \u2013 for wide or heavy skylight sashes and long strokes.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ventsystems.de\/en\/product\/vs-mka\/\">VS-MKA mechanical chain drive<\/a> \u2013 as a manual solution without a power connection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Choice tips<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Clarify the opening direction (inwards\/outwards) and the hinge side before making your selection.<\/li>\n<li>For installations at a high height, plan the cable routing and button position.<\/li>\n<li>Several skylights can be accessed via a <a href=\"https:\/\/ventsystems.de\/en\/product-category\/controls\/\">steering<\/a> head towards them together.<\/li>\n<li>To replace mechanical skylight openers, record sash dimensions and existing mounting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note regarding smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV):<\/strong> All Vent Systems drives are CE-certified according to applicable EU directives.
