It is given in <strong>millimetres<\/strong> . With a chain actuator it is the length by which the chain extends; with a linear or spindle actuator it is the travel of the push rod.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stroke length and opening width<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The stroke length determines how far the sash opens. However, the actual opening width also depends on where the actuator sits and how the sash is hinged. Important: the sash must mechanically allow the full stroke length.
