It sits in the head rail and drives the shafts on both sides via a double shaft. Both can be motorised; the motors differ in design and power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I motorise a crank-operated venetian blind?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Usually yes. The motor replaces the crank gear in the head rail. Whether conversion is possible depends on the head rail system \u2013 send us a photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I replace a defective branded motor?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, as an alternative to motors from established manufacturers such as Somfy, Becker, Elero or Selve \u2013 provided design and shaft coupling match the head rail.
