Without synchronisation one actuator can run ahead. The sash then jams, and the fittings and actuators are loaded unevenly.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When do I need two synchronous actuators?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For wide sashes, usually from about 1.2 m width, and for heavy sashes that a single actuator cannot move safely. The actuators are then fitted on the left and right of the sash and share the load.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does synchronisation work?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The actuators exchange their position via a data line and continuously match their speed. The smart actuators from Vent Systems have the synchronisation function built in; a separate synchronisation box is not required.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which actuators can run synchronously?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example the <a href=\"\/en\/product\/vs-ka-i\/\">VS-KA-i chain actuator<\/a>, the <a href=\"\/en\/product\/vs-sb-400-i\/\">VS-SB 400-i<\/a>, the <a href=\"\/en\/product\/vs-la-i\/\">VS-LA-i linear actuator<\/a> and the <a href=\"\/en\/product\/vs-za-600-i\/\">VS-ZA-i rack and pinion actuator<\/a>.
