For a listed building, changes to its appearance often need a permit \u2013 this can include windows. The responsible body is usually the local monument protection authority of the city or district; the rules differ from state to state.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">May I motorise a window in a listed building?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A small actuator on the inside of the frame usually does not change the view from outside. Nevertheless, you should agree the installation with the monument protection authority beforehand.
