Example: a 300 mm stroke at 10 mm\/s takes about 30 seconds. The exact value is in the data sheet of the respective actuator.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What matters<\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Comfort ventilation:<\/strong> quiet, slow running is more pleasant and quieter<\/li><li><strong>Several actuators on one sash:<\/strong> identical speed is essential, otherwise the sash jams \u2013 synchronous controls exist for this<\/li><li><strong>Under load:<\/strong> with a heavy sash the actuator may run somewhat slower than without load<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frequently asked questions<\/h2>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is a fast actuator better?<\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not necessarily for daily ventilation. Fast actuators are louder and the closing edges need more attention.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I adjust the speed?<\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a rule, no \u2013 the speed is determined by motor and gearbox.
