For automation, usually only the <strong>tilt position<\/strong> makes sense.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What works \u2013 and what does not<\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Tilting:<\/strong> an actuator can move the sash into the tilt position<\/li><li><strong>Turning:<\/strong> automatic sideways opening is not intended with standard window actuators<\/li><li><strong>Hardware:<\/strong> the handle must be in the tilt position or the hardware is prepared for the actuator \u2013 depending on the system<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Typical solution<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For tilt-and-turn windows there are actuators that sit at the top of the sash and only tilt. Whether your window is suitable depends on hardware and profile.
