The basis is the inspection ordinance of the respective German federal state.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When is it required?<\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>before first commissioning<\/li><li>after significant changes to the system<\/li><li>recurring within three years<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This only applies to certain buildings, such as retail and assembly buildings, high-rise buildings and schools.
