Depending on the system, a control unit, switch or sensors are added, plus installation by a qualified electrician. The company usually charges by the hour. The costs mainly depend on:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>whether a cable is already in place at the window or needs to be laid,<\/li><li>how high the window is and whether a ladder is enough or scaffolding or a lifting platform is needed,<\/li><li>how many windows are fitted at the same time,<\/li><li>whether the standard brackets fit or need to be adapted, see <a href=\"\/en\/the-installation-situation-as-a-technical-foundation\/\">Installation situation<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tip: ask for a quote with separate items for labour, cables and material. It is important that the new actuator matches in force, stroke, voltage and mounting. Actuator, window and SHEV control panel are then coordinated and certified for the specific project. The costs therefore cannot be stated as a flat rate.
