Some motors carry a type designation such as JO65 with 500 mm stroke. What matters for the replacement are voltage, stroke and force from the type plate.
Which drive fits?
- Ventilation with 230 V: VS-LA linear actuator in 230 V with the same stroke as before, for example 300 or 500 mm.
- 24 V on a control unit: VS-LA in 24 V.
- Large or heavy domes: choose a higher force or use two drives.
What to consider when replacing a drive
- Force: It depends on the size and weight of the dome as well as snow and wind load. Help with the calculation: Calculate thrust.
- Stroke: Do not choose a longer stroke than before so that the dome does not open too far.
- Mounting: Measure the drilling patterns and bearings on the upstand and on the dome beforehand.
