Tilt window drive: electric drives for tilt and turn windows

Tilt and turn windows can be opened and closed electrically with a compact chain drive – for natural ventilation of offices, halls, schools, and stairwells. The drive is mounted on the frame and slides the sash open via a chain.

Suitable drives

• VS-KA chain drive – 250 N to 1,500 N, 24 V or 230 V; universally suitable for tilt and turn windows.
• VS-CKA 300 built-in chain drive – flat, for concealed installation in wooden, plastic or aluminum windows.
• VS-SB 400/90 with side arch chain – for installation situations where the chain needs to exit laterally.
• VS-VA 600 locking drive – additionally locks the wing when required.

Choice tips

• With tilt windows, the weight of the sash pulls on the drive when opening – select a force with a reserve.
• The chain length determines the opening gap; the Chain length calculator provides an initial value.
• One is sufficient for operation. Ventilation button; It happens automatically with controls and sensors.
• When retrofitting, check the frame profile and space for brackets – you can find suitable brackets in the Accessories.
