The GEZE ECchain is a 230 V chain drive for daily ventilation, mainly in residential buildings. If it is faulty, Vent Systems offers a chain drive with the same force in 230 V – operated directly via a switch, without a control unit.

Which actuator fits?
- Standard case: VS-KA chain actuator with 250 N in 230 V and the same stroke as before (200 or 400 mm). Bracket set included in the price.
- Stiff or large sashes: VS-KA with 400 N for more force reserve.
- Controlling several windows centrally: VS-KA in 24 V on a Ventilation control – this requires 24 V wiring.
What to consider when replacing a drive
- Connection: The 230 V drive is connected by an electrician. The existing switch can usually still be used.
- Stroke: Choose the same stroke as on the ECchain so that the sash does not open further than before.
- Installation space: Compare the length and depth of the new drive with the space on the window frame.
