With concealed installation, a slim actuator is placed in the rebate between frame and sash. This is popular where appearance matters, for example in housing, offices or listed buildings.
What needs to be considered?
The profile needs enough depth for the actuator. The force is lower than with surface-mounted actuators, so this installation suits lighter sashes in particular.
