A locking drive moves the espagnolette of the window hardware. This locks the sash firmly at several points and unlocks it automatically before opening.
When does a locking drive make sense?
It is worthwhile for large sashes, for windows with high airtightness requirements and for windows that need protection against prying.
- Usually runs before the opening actuator
- Check the matching hardware with the window manufacturer
- Example: VS-VA 600
