UPS stands for uninterruptible power supply. It bridges a power cut with batteries so that connected devices keep running.
UPS and window actuators
With 24 V ventilation controls, a UPS can ensure that windows can still be closed during a power cut, for example when it rains. A qualified electrician plans size and connection based on the current draw of all actuators.
In SHEV systems, this task is performed by the emergency power supply of the SHEV control panel.
