Who we supply
Our range is aimed at window fabricators, metal fabricators, electrical and smoke ventilation contractors, planners, architects and property clients. Net prices, project prices on request and purchase on account by arrangement apply, see Window actuators for metal and window fabricators.
Typical requirements in northern Germany
- Wind and rain: Especially near the coast, ventilation windows should close automatically via a Wind-rain-light sensor .
- Schutzart: For outdoor areas and exposed façades, actuators with a high Degree of protection, such as IP65, are suitable.
- Snow: On roof windows and rooflights, snow increases the force required, see Snow load and wind load.
- Stairwells in Hamburg: Smoke venting is governed by § 35 HBauO, see Smoke vent in the stairwell.
Replacement for faulty actuators
If an old actuator is no longer available, we use the data from the rating plate to check which actuator fits, including third-party brands. More in our guide Replacing window drives.
