Cross ventilation occurs when windows on two opposite sides of a room or building are open at the same time. Wind and pressure differences drive the air through.
Automating cross ventilation
With window actuators on both sides and one shared control, the windows open together, for example via a ventilation switch or a timer.
- Short ventilation periods are often enough
- High openings increase the effect
- Control e.g. VS-C24-7A with switch
