A Position feedback tells the control unit or building management system which position a window or actuator is in, for example “closed”, “open” or an intermediate position.
What is it needed for?
- Check that all windows are closed in the evening
- Integration into alarm system or building management
- Control ventilation by opening width
How is the position reported?
Simple solutions use a contact on the window that only reports “closed” or “open”. Actuators with a data interface, for example via Modbus, can provide more information. Which values an actuator reports exactly is stated in its data sheet. Ask us and we will check it for your project.
