A Ventilation control, also called Window control supplies electric window actuators with power and controls when they open and close. It usually converts 230 V to 24 V DC and accepts commands from push buttons, radio remote controls or sensors.
What does a ventilation control do?
- supplies 24 V actuators with power
- opens and closes via push button or radio remote control
- closes automatically in rain or wind via sensors
- controls several actuators together, depending on power
Is a ventilation control an SHEV control panel?
No. A ventilation control is intended for everyday ventilation. For smoke extraction in the event of fire, an SHEV control panel with emergency battery, smoke detector and SHEV push button is required. Vent Systems supplies ventilation controls, not SHEV control panels. More on RWA.
How many actuators can a ventilation control operate?
That depends on the power supply output and the current draw of the actuators. The VS-C24-7A supplies up to 7 A at 24 V DC and controls up to 7 actuators together. For more actuators or separate groups, several controls are used.
Ventilation control at Vent Systems
The VS-C24-7A is connected directly to 230 V, supplies 24 V DC and controls up to 7 actuators, from €60 net. Matching accessories include the radio remote control VS-C24-F-1 (€14), ventilation push buttons and wind, rain and light sensors. In detail in the guide Ventilation control for window actuators.
Suitable ventilation controls, push buttons and sensors can be found in the category Window controls.
