A Wind monitor is a sensor that measures wind speed. If a set value is exceeded, it reports this to the control unit. The control unit then closes windows or retracts awnings and blinds before the wind causes damage.
Where is a wind monitor mounted?
Freely exposed to the wind on the facade or roof, not in the lee of building parts. Otherwise it measures too little wind.
Which sensor fits?
The VS-WRLS-wind-rain-light sensor records wind, rain and brightness in one device and reports them to the control unit VS-C24-7A. For rain only there is the VS-RS rain sensor.
