Calculated with a 40 mm octagonal shaft (winding radius approx. 3.5 cm), the AM35 handles these roller shutters depending on torque:

Guide values based on the formula torque = curtain weight × 9.81 × winding radius × 1.5 (reserve for friction). Aluminium, wooden or security curtains are heavier – then choose the next size up. If in doubt, send us width, height and material and we will size the motor.

Which shaft does the AM35 fit?

The AM35 fits shafts with Ø 40–50 mm, typically the 40 mm octagonal shaft. For the 60 mm octagonal shaft, the AM45 is the right choice.

When is 6 Nm enough and when do I need 10 Nm?

Can I operate the AM35 by radio?

Yes, with the MEL version: it has a built-in 433 MHz receiver and stores the end positions plus up to 4 intermediate positions. The mechanical version is operated via a wall switch.
