What does the obstacle detection do?

If the curtain hits an obstacle while lowering, the motor stops and reverses a little. The sensitivity is adjustable.

Do I need an additional radio receiver?

No. The receiver is built into the motor. You only need a suitable remote control or timer.

Can a wind or sun sensor be connected?

Yes, the motor can be combined with wind and sun sensors as well as timers, RS485 and dry contact.
